PLR Products can easily be utilized to make money if you avoid these 5 mistakes

Making money with PLR or private label rights and products, is relatively simple.   These are items that you can sell for a profit that you have purchased and re-branded.  Examples of PLR products are article packs and e-books.  There are however five PLR mistakes you will want to avoid if this is your first endeavor with PLR.  If these mistakes are not avoided they could cost you thousands in profit dollars!

1 – Avoid letting your products collect dust

Ensure that you are utilizing every file you have purchased regardless of whether or not it is simply 25 PLR articles or 100 PRL e-books.  Your intent with each purchase was to make money, so get started.    Every product you purchase requires your undivided attention, however do not let them sit under utilized while waiting for just the right amount of time to perfect your revisions.  If time is scarce, you can make slight modifications to article and e-book edits.  You can design a sales book and affiliate links for e-books as well as place the articles on a website with advertisements.  As time is available you can revisit, modify in greater detail, and focus on marketing.  It is important to remember that profits do not roll in unless you actually utilize the products you purchased.

2 – Do not omit modifying the document

Execute only a few modifications to your PLR articles or e-books if you are pressed for time, as previously mentioned.  If you have the time available, go ahead and execute quality adjustments to your products.  Competition is great in the PLR market due to easy access for many people to PLR e-books and articles.  Prices are quite affordable and sellers may sell 500 or more e-books or over 100 PLR article packs.  If you invest the time to do quality revisions to your PLR articles and e-books, you will basically create new and different versions.

3 – Inadequate research of all options

As mentioned earlier, PLR e-book buyers can make money and profit by rewriting all or parts of an e-book and selling to interested parties.  While this is pretty easy money, it is not the only opportunity available. You should also consider creating mini articles from dissections of an e-book.  One could also generate income on the website utilized to sell the e-book through affiliate programs and pay-per-click advertising.  PLR articles can also be utilized in the same manner.  They can be combined and edited to create a new e-book.

4 – Not maximizing the utilization of your PLR products

This avoidable mistake goes hand in hand with understanding all your options.  A website might initially be created when an individual purchases a 25 pack of articles.  This website can generate profit through ads or paid memberships.  Profit can be generated rather quickly in days or weeks considering PLR articles sell for $1 a piece.  You can maximize profits even farther by considering product relevance to other topics.  If your articles highlight how to choose a dentist most of these tips can be applied to choosing other medical professionals such as surgeons, general practitioners, chiropractors, and pediatricians.  Simple modified duplication can enable you to create 4 more websites.  This process can be applied to e-books as well!

5 – Avoid focusing on only one product

You can easily spend $25 for 25 articles and modify them to create more articles, as mentioned earlier.  Definitely utilize this process however why stop here.  Continue the process of buying new PLR e-books and articles to re-brand and sell.  The more you create the more profit you generate.  This is a passive money making opportunity.  You may experience a slug in sales when you first post your e-book that may taper off, however the sales can continue indefinitely.  The profit will continue as long as long as there is demand for your product.

6. Failure to build a downline. Your downline is the cornerstone of your business. A downline is your customer list or they can be referrals that join certain advetising programs through you serving as an affiliate. Verious advertising sites offer you some type of compensation for bringing them referrals. Don’t ignore the value of these referrals. Some Internet marketers are so anxious to advertise their product they fail to have an understanding of the bigger picture. A big downline can save you money in your advertising and enbable you to advertise more effectively. When soliciting always get the email address of your customer for future solicitations and sales.

Whether you use pay-per-click advertising or membership driven sites like safelists, traffic exchanges and text ad exchanges all have their own personality. Not only do you need to understand the mechanics of each but also the general personality of their membership.
